The Stated October Session meeting convened at 7:05 pm with prayer led by Rev. Mark Hinchcliff and devotions led by Nancy Moore.

Upcoming Dates

• Veteran’s Day Service will be held November 10 at 6:00 pm at EMI (former Bassett High School)
• Commitment Sunday, November 12, 2017
• La Posada December 1, 2017 at 6:00 pm. (Rain date December 8, 2017)
• New Officer and Session training November 27, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
• Chrismon tree and other decorations to be put in place the week after Thanksgiving
• Hanging of the Greens, December 3, 2017
• December 24, 2017, 11:00 and Christmas Eve Candlelight services with no early service that day
• December Session meeting and examination of new session members, January 8, 2018
• Ordination and installation of Sharon Kirby and Kym Tatum and installation of Denny Casey and Ron Rebman, January 21, 2018 at the 11:00 service MSP
• January Session meeting, January 29, 2018
• Disciples Bible Study, Tuesdays at 3:30 for 34 weeks

The Christian Education committee is planning to organize a library guild and is looking for a leader to coordinate this program.
