Stated Session Meeting Highlights 

July 30, 2018

• Mark Hinchcliff opened the July 30 stated session meeting with prayer.
• Kym Tatum led the group in devotions.
• Minutes of the May 21, 2018 stated session meeting and the June 24, 2018 congregational meeting were approved as presented.
• The treasurer reported a checking account balance. This includes $---- taken from the Morgan Stanley funds and designated to pay for the boiler. (Figures available at church)
• The June 30, 2018 Morgan Stanley Endowment Account balance was reported. (Figures available at church)
• Mark Hinchcliff reviewed his participation in summer activities noting plans for Back2School this week.
• He stated plans are being made for a World Communion Service October 7, 2018 that will be held at NCI.
• FPC will host the February 2019 presbytery meeting.
• Additional help for the library guild that meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month is needed.
• Sandy and Bill Martin were thanked for their role in hosting and their contribution to the success of the Camp Peaks Program held at their farm.
• The Christian Education Committee will prepare a Rally Day breakfast September 9.
• A Pay Pal account that people may use to make donations, pay pledges or other payments has been set up.
• Thanks were expressed to the increased volunteer support for Cooks Who Care last month.
• The Facilities Committee is reestablishing the workday schedule.
• The fellowship among the Community Breakfast participants was noted.
• Session members will be sharing their thoughts on stewardship at a Moment for Mission beginning Rally Day.
• Blessing for the college students will be August 12. Backpack Sunday will be Rally Day, September 9.
• A congregational meeting will be held September 23, 2018 following the 11:00 worship service to elect elders for the class of 2021.
• The meeting adjourned at 8:30 with prayer led by Kym Tatum.
• The next stated session meeting will be August 27, 2018.
